Night times and mornings have become noticeably cooler. Yesterday, when my daughter and I walked a trail in town, we could see bits of red on a few sumac leaf tips and one maple tree turning orange, while green leaves have turned a dusty olive color. While I enjoy leaving behind the hot muggy days of summer (I know we're not completely done yet), I have a difficult time with this seasonal transition into autumn.
And so, feeling a bit blue on this Monday morning, I turned to this song, Somewhere Over the Rainbow performed by Hawaiian singer, Israel Kamakawiwo'Ole. This version is a medley with What a Wonderful World.
